Hamilton House Open Day, Saturday 29th September 2018

It's that time of year again. We're open to the public from 12 noon this Saturday, lots of things to see and do. Might be your last chance to check us out, given the fractious state of affairs with der landlörden.

My Studio's open to all...

Paintings, prints, cards, comics, music and sundry schiesse will be on sale...

Visitors will be offered the opportunity to thrill at the spectacle of the 'artist' at 'work', and to marvel at the 'process' of 'creation'...

Canteen Exhibition

There's a small but perfectly formed collection of my recent work on the Artist of the Month wall in the Canteen from now until the 31st of November...

All pieces are for sale - some are prints, some are original pen & inks, most are one-offs for this occasion...

There's some additional unframed prints and cards on sale in a fetching little counter-top arrangement, over in the reception/shop...

Work in Progress - March 28th 2015

Slanting Spring Sunshine falls across a tidy(ish) workspace:

Finished and almost finished pieces go on this wall:

Some recently started pieces on the desktop - a symmetry-on-white (never done one on white before), and a decorative guitar piece:

Work in Progress - August 12th 2014

There are probably a few too many paintings on the go at the moment, but what the hey...

An almost completed small blue symmetrical and long green cluster...

Two new clusters at bottom left, and a new symmetry piece on the desk...

Focus Feature

I'm featured in an article in the Summer 2014 edition of BBC Science Focus Magazine.

Click the pic for more info:

The article is about the quest for a cure for headaches (specifically migraine), and I'm interviewed as an example of an artist whose work is affected and influenced by migraine states and visual auras and suchlike.

One of my neuroglyph pieces is also reproduced therein, alongside a charming photo of myself looking old and shagged out...

Work in Progress - May 7th 2014

Nice Black triptych on the go, and the mirrored pieces are coming along nicely. Trying to resist the urge to plaster every square inch with pattern and keep it sparse...

Digital Testpiece

Not sure if there's much to pursue down this particular avenue, but I like the way they look when magnified, nice play of saturated colour and background greyscale dirt...
