I'll probably be doing some more fine-tuning to these, but I thought I'd stick 'em up as they are at the moment, for an 'under-the-hood' glimpse into the 'artistic process'*

The green one needs another darker outer layer, the brown one needs more dark colours in the centre area, and they all need around 25% more detail work (outlines, inlays, smaller dots and circles)

I'll know when they're finished 'cos they'll start to 'zing'...

*autistic process, more like...

Five Glyphs Framed

A new work-thrust direction initiative thingy - I'm building up a collection of one-off framed art, both prints and originals. I'm allowing serendipity to play a part, sourcng frames and glass from anywhere and everywhere, then matching the frame to the artwork.

Here's a recent one, five original neuroglyph miniatures in a nice waxed beech frame:

This set of mirrors needs more detail/smaller circles. I'm trying to stick to a diffused sprinkle of detail running from top left to bottom right, rather than aimlessly filling the entire area.

I'll be finishing these chaps with a thick layer of varnish...
