New Glitch Card
Here's another wrong 'un, generated by dropping an ultra hi-res scan of one of my paintings into an overloaded and memory-starved Photoshop, then running it through my super-secret three-step error-slide process...

First Set of Glitch Cards
I'm really pleased with these, they printed well, and retained all the little gradations of pixellated colour common to their on-screen versions.
I threw caution to the wind and ordered gold and silver envelopes, because they seemed to 'go' with the saturated pixelly glitchiness of the images...

I'm going to be printing a lot of these, I feel I'm only scratching the surface of a potentially productive new area. Meantime, here be close-ups:

Big Batch of Big Prints
Just taken delivery of the first batch of A2 Neuroglyphic Extrusion prints, as well as some similarly sized Dense Symmetries too.
I've also printed a small run of each of Neuroglyphs at A3, and the Symmetries at A3 and A4.
Bit of reflection on the pics, but that's because they're all wrapped and ready to go...

New Cards - Test Run
I'm trying a few tests this week, seeing what works at what size:
I might try some cards with close-ups of small areas rather than shrinking the whole image down to fit the front of a greetings card.
I reckon this first one might be a reduction too far (borderline indecipherability), the psychic blackboard pieces seem to work better printed very large, probably due to being scanned at 600dpi:

Tried a wraparound idea with this next one, but not entirely sure it works. Again, it might be better to do a close-ups on a square card rather than a wraparound on a rectangular one:
(Note to self- they don't ALL have to be reproduced as greetings cards)

A2 Glyph Test Print
I just got this chap back from the printers; an A2 test print of one of my neuroglyph manipulations.
It was scanned at 600 dpi from the A4 original. Photoshop fiddling was kept to a bare minimum (colour inversion, tone/vibrancy adjustment and some subtle layering) When converted to 300dpi and blown up it kept its detail and looks phenomenal at its new size!
First of a projected series of 10-15 A2 Giclée prints.
